The following ingredients have 1 Servings
  • 30 grams (2 tablespoons) unsalted butter, melted
  • 45 grams (1/4 cup) brown sugar
  • 15 grams (1 tablespoon) caster sugar or granulated sugar
  • 1/2 large egg (see notes)
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 70 grams (1/2 cup) plain flour or all purpose flour
  • 7 grams (1 tablespoon) cocoa powder, sifted
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
  • Pinch of salt
  • 40 grams (1/4 cup) chocolate chips, plus extra for decorating
  • 50 grams (1/4 cups) pink and purple Smarties or M&M’s

Instruction

  • Preheat oven to 180 C (350 F) standard / 160 C (320 F) fan-forced. Line a flat oven tray or cookie sheet with baking or parchment paper.
  • Add melted butter to a medium-sized mixing bowl. Add sugars and stir to combine. Add egg and vanilla and stir.
  • Add flour, cocoa powder, baking soda and salt and mix until a chocolate dough forms. Stir through chocolate chips.
  • Place dough on prepared pan and spread out to form one large cookie – roughly 7 inches in diameter.
  • Press candy and extra chocolate chips on top. Bake for approximately 12-14 minutes. Leave to cool completely.
