Ingredients
The following ingredients have 5 Servings
- 3-to-4-pound bag of fresh chicken wings
- 1/2 cup (1 stick) of butter
- 3 to 4 garlic cloves, smashed
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tablespoon dried parsley
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon dried rosemary, crushed
- 1 teaspoon Creole or Cajun seasoning, or to taste
- 1 teaspoon kosher salt
- 1/2 teaspoon freshly cracked black pepper
Instruction
- Preheat the oven to 450 degrees F. Line a rimmed baking pan with aluminum foil.
- Bring chicken to room temperature. Disjoint the wings if desired, and reserve tips for another use.
- Melt the butter with the garlic and cook over low heat to allow the garlic to infuse the butter for about 10 minutes; remove from heat and set aside to slightly cool.
- In a separate bowl, mix together the Parmesan, parsley, garlic powder, rosemary, Cajun seasoning, salt and pepper.
- Dip the wings into the butter, then roll in the cheese mixture and place on prepared tray.
- Reduce heat to 350 degrees F and bake, for about 1 hour, turning halfway; total cooking time will depend on the size and thickness of the wings.
- Plate and garnish with a sprinkle of Parmesan, if desired.
