Ingredients

The following ingredients have 4 Servings
  • 4 cups chicken or vegetable broth
  • 1¼ cup uncooked arborio rice (must be arborio rice)
  • ¼ cup olive oil
  • ¼ cup white wine
  • 1 tbsp dried onion flakes
  • 1 tbsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp kosher salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • ¾ cup shredded parmesan cheese

Instruction

  • Combine broth, rice, olive oil, white wine, onion flakes, garlic powder, salt and, pepper in your slow cooker.
  • Cover and cook on high 1½ - 2 hours or until most of the moisture is absorbed. Watch the timing as all slow cookers vary in cooking time and temperature a bit.
  • Once the rice is soft and it is a creamy consistency, add in the cheese and stir.
  • Sprinkle with some chives or parsley when serving if desired.
