The following ingredients have 4 Servings
  • 6 Bread Slices
  • ¼ Cup Butter
  • 2 tbsp Garlic ((Chopped))
  • 1 tsp Red Chilli Flakes
  • 1 tsp Oregano
  • ½ Cup Grated Cheese

Instruction

  • Take 6 bread slices, 2 tbsp of finely chopped garlic, 1 tsp of red chilli flakes and 1 tsp of oregano. Then, measure 1/4 cup of soft butter and 1/2 cup of grated cheese (mozzarella or cheddar cheese).
  • Mix the butter once without any lumps and then add the finely chopped garlic.
  • Now add the oregano and red chilli flakes.
  • Combine everything well. Apply this garlic-butter spread on one side of the bread slice. Do the same with the remaining bread slices.
  • Heat a tawa or non-stick pan and place the garlic spread side facing down. Toast till golden color and crispy in low to medium flame.
  • Transfer the toasted bread to a plate. Then, sprinkle some grated cheese on the toasted side. Immediately, place the bread on the tawa (empty side downwards).
  • Cover it with a lid with a small hole and toast for 2 seconds only. Do not toast for a long time else the cheese becomes like a paste and the bread becomes soggy (cheese should slightly melt).
