Ingredients
The following ingredients have 4 Servings
- 4-6 boneless, skinless, chicken breasts
- 1/2 cup butter
- 2 tablespoons garlic, minced
- 3/4 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup parmesan cheese grated
- 1 tblsp Italian seasoning or basil or oregano
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp pepper
- 1/2 cup cheddar cheese, grated (optional)
- 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
Instruction
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- Melt the butter in a saucepan over low heat, and cook the garlic until tender, about 5 minutes.
- In a shallow bowl or plate, mix the bread crumbs, Parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning or oregano or basil, pepper, and salt. If you are in the mood, grate about 1/2 cup of cheddar and mix it into the breadcrumb mixture if desired.
- Prepare a foil lined rimmed baking sheet with a rack coated with cooking spray.
- Dip each chicken breast in the garlic butter to coat, then press into the bread crumb mixture. Arrange the coated chicken breasts on the rack and drizzle breasts with any remaining butter and top with any remaining bread crumb mixture if desired.
- Bake for about 35 minutes and add cheddar cheese on top of each breast. Bake for about 10 minutes longer and cheese is melted and juices run clear. Serve immediately and enjoy!
