Ingredients

The following ingredients have 4 Servings
  • 5 precooked corn on the cob, (kernels removed (or defrosted frozen corn kernels))
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 tablespoons all purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup milk ((I used 2%))
  • 1/4 cup Alouette Garlic and Herb Chese Spread
  • 1/4 teaspoon Kosher salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon black pepper

Instruction

  • Melt butter in a medium saucepan over medium heat; then whisk in the flour forming a roux.
  • Add the heavy cream and whisk until the roux has dissolved; then add the milk, cheese, pepper and salt. Mix well.
  • Stir in the corn and bring to a boil. Reduce heat to low and simmer 10 minutes.
