Ingredients

The following ingredients have 4 Servings
  • 2 3/4 cup cheddar cheese (shredded)
  • 3 tbsp all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup cheap beer
  • 4 tsp garlic (dried, minced)
  • 1 tsp pepper
  • 1 oz cream cheese (softened)
  • 1 1/3 tbsp milk
  • 2/3 tbsp sour cream
  • 2/3 tbsp parsley (chopped)
  • 2/3 tbsp chives
  • 1/3 tbsp onion (dried, minced)

Instruction

  • In a small bowl, toss the cheese with the flour
  • Use a double boiler to bring 2 inches of water to boil over high heat
  • Meanwhile, whisk all ingredients for the sauce together
  • Reduce heat to medium and pour in beer
  • Stir in garlic and cook for 30 seconds, stirring constantly
  • Add half of the cheese and cook until it melts then add the remaining cheese, a little at a time until it is all melted
  • Fold in the sauce and pepper
