Ingredients
The following ingredients have 4 Servings
- 1 box firm tofu
- 1/4 pound ground beef
- 1/4 cup green onions chopped
- 2 teaspoon oyster sauce
- 1 teaspoon corn starch
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1-2 slices cheddar cheese
- 1/4 cup shredded Jack and Colby Cheese
- 2 Tablespoon Unagi sauce mix with 1 Tablespoon water
- 2 Tablespoon sliced green onion to garnish
Instruction
- Place a kitchen towel on the counter and place the tofu on top. Put a heavy item, such as a small pot, on top of the tofu for one hour to squeeze out excess water.
- Mix ground beef with green onion, oyster sauce, corn starch, garlic powder, and black pepper and set aside.
- Cut tofu into large rectangular pieces and cut out the center without cutting through. Line the inside of the tofu with cheddar cheese. Fill the void with the ground beef mixture.
- Preheat the air fryer at 400F (200C) for 2 minutes.
- Put the stuffed tofu into the fryer basket lined with lightly greased aluminum foil. Sprinkle shredded cheese over the stuffed tofu and let the cheese melt in the air fryer for 1 minute. Air fry at 380F (190C) for 7-8 minutes until the ground beef temperature exceeds 160F (71C).
- Drizzle some unagi sauce and sprinkle some green onion to serve.
