- ¾ cup semi-sweet chocolate chips or chunks, (divided, mini or regular-sized)
- ½ cup granulated sugar
- 1 large egg (at room temperature)
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- ½ cup all-purpose flour
- ½ teaspoon espresso powder ((optional))
- Pinch of salt
- ⅔ cup all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
- ¼ teaspoon baking soda
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- 6 Tablespoons unsalted butter, (at room temperature)
- 6 Tablespoons packed brown sugar
- ⅓ cup pumpkin puree
- 1 large egg
- ¾ teaspoon vanilla extract
- ¼ cup semi-sweet chocolate chips (mini or regular-sized)
Instruction
- Preheat oven to 350°F. Line an 8" x 8" square pan with parchment paper, leaving enough excess parchment along two opposite sides of the pan so that you can easily pull out the cooled brownies for slicing later on.
