Ingredients
The following ingredients have 4 Servings
- 10 ounce marshmallows
- 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 6 cups Kellogg’s® Rice Krispies® Cereal
- red, white, and blue sprinkles ((optional))
- 1/2 cup blueberries
- 2 cups strawberries
Instruction
- Rinse the berries and pat dry with a paper towel. Cut any large strawberries into 1/2-inch thick slices.
- Line an 8 x 8-inch baking pan with parchment or wax paper.
- Place the marshmallows and butter in a large microwave-safe bowl. Microwave on high for 2 minutes, stir, and heat an additional minute.
- Stir in the Rice Krispies Cereal and sprinkles until evenly coated.
- Press the mixture firmly into the baking pan using lightly dampened hands or wax paper to prevent it from sticking to your fingers.
- Allow to fully cool, then cut the Rice Krispies Treats™ into 25 squares.
- Assemble the Fruit Kabobs by pushing one Rice Krispies Treats™ square onto the kabob, leaving a few inches at the bottom to hold the skewer.
- Next, add a strawberry, then 2-3 blueberries. Repeat this pattern again and end with a Rice Krispies Treat™.
- Assemble the kabobs on a tray for serving.
