- 125 g water room temperature
- 3 tbs caster sugar
- 1 pinch ground cinnamon
Instruction
- Preheat oven to 200C and line a baking tin.
- In a bowl - combine plain flour, sugar, yeast, cinnamon, sultanas and pinch of salt. Mix to combine.
- Warm milk and butter in a saucepan over a low heat until butter melts and mixture is tepid. Add egg to milk and butter and whisk all together so its combined.

- When ready - cut dough up into 12-16 portions (depending on how big you like your buns). Roll into balls and place into a square tin - lined up next to each other. Cover again - and rest for about 30-40 minutes.
- Bake in 200C oven for about 20-30 minutes or until cooked through.
- Meanwhile, for the glaze, dissolve sugar, cinnamon and water in a saucepan over low heat until the sugar is combined - and thickens up.
- Turn buns out of tin onto a wire rack. Brush tops with glaze while still hot. Allow to cool.
