Ingredients

The following ingredients have 4 Servings
  • 48 ounces chocolate ice cream
  • ½ cup whole milk
  • 5 ounces bourbon
  • 5 ounces dark rum
  • 5 ounces Frangelico (hazelnut liqueur)
  • 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
  • ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • ¼ teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • Pie crust cut into favorite shapes and baked
  • Whipped cream and chocolate shavings (for garnish)

Instruction

  • Remove the chocolate ice cream from the freezer. Let soften at room temperature for about 15 minutes, until soft enough to stir.
  • Mix the ice cream, milk, bourbon, rum, Frangelico, vanilla, cinnamon, and nutmeg together in a large bowl.
  • Pour this cocktail mixture into an airtight freezer container. Freeze for a minimum of 4 hours, up to 48 hours, stirring ever 12 hours.
  • To serve, remove the cocktail mixture from the freezer and stir well. It will be very slushy.
  • Spoon the cocktail into chilled glasses, top with whipped cream and chocolate shavings, and garnish with pie crust “cookies.”
