Ingredients
The following ingredients have 4 Servings
- 2 3/4 cups flour
- 1 Tablespoon of ground ginger
- 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter (room temperature)
- 1/2 cup of sugar
- 1/3 cup of molasses
- 1/4 cup buttermilk
- White Frosting (storebought or homemade)
- Sprinkles (optional)
Instruction
- In a medium size bowl, mix flour, ginger, cinnamon, baking soda and salt together.
- In a large bowl, beat together the butter, sugar and molasses until smooth.
- Add the buttermilk.
- Slowly add the dry ingredients a little at a time until combined.
- On a piece of plastic wrap or waxed paper, roll the dough flat and wrap the dough. Refrigerate for at least 10 hours.
