Ingredients

The following ingredients have 4 Servings
  • 2 cups sauerkraut (drained)
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 4 strips bacon (cooked and crumbled)
  • 1/4 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Instruction

  • Melt butter in a large skillet set over medium-high heat and place sauerkraut in the skillet along with the cooked and crumbled bacon, black pepper, and salt.
  • Sauté the sauerkraut for five minutes, stirring occasionally. Cook longer and stir less frequently if you desire crispy fried sauerkraut.
  • Remove from heat and serve immediately.
