- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup cornmeal
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1 large egg
- 1/3 cup vegetable oil
Instruction
- In a large bowl, whisk together flour, cornmeal, salt, and baking powder. Whisk in egg and vegetable oil until smooth.
- Heat either a skillet or griddle with non-stick cooking spray. Ladle cornbread batter onto the hot skillet and cook until golden browned on both sides.
