- 4 to 6 (1 1/2 to 2 lbs) boneless, skinless chicken thighs
- 2 cups buttermilk
- 1 teaspoon celery salt
- 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper

- 3 to 4 cups mild vegetable oil (for frying (at least 2-inches or 5-cm deep))
