  • 4 to 6 (1 1/2 to 2 lbs) boneless, skinless chicken thighs
  • 2 cups buttermilk
  • 1 teaspoon celery salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 large egg
  • 3 to 4 cups mild vegetable oil (for frying (at least 2-inches or 5-cm deep))
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 tablespoons freshly ground black pepper
  • Your fave local honey (they use wildflower honey at Egg Shop)
  • Coarse sea salt
