Ingredients
The following ingredients have 4 Servings
- ½ cup fresh strawberry puree (about 1 cup of fresh strawberries)
- 1 ¼ cups granulated sugar
- 4 cups cold water
- 1 ½ cups fresh squeezed lemon juice
- 1 lemon (sliced)
- 4 fresh strawberries (sliced)
- 2-3 cups ice cubes
Instruction
- Add one cup of strawberries to your blender and puree them, then refrigerate until needed.
- Add the sugar and 2 cups of water to a saucepan. Heat over medium heat, stirring frequently, until the sugar dissolves. Set the sugar water aside.
- Add freshly squeezed lemon juice and 2 cups of cold water to pitcher.
- Add the simple syrup to the pitcher and stir well. Refrigerate the mixture for about 2 hours before moving on. Once chilled, add the strawberry puree to the fresh lemonade and stir to combine.
- Put strawberries and lemon slices in pitcher and stir well.
- Add in 2-3 cups of ice and stir more.
- Serve over ice in pint jar. Make sure each glass gets sliced fruit in it!
