Ingredients
The following ingredients have 4 Servings
- 2 cup basmati rice
- 1 cinnamon stick
- 5 (pods) cardamom
- 5 whole cloves
- 2 tsp chicken stock powder
- 1 pinch salt
- 1 tbs oil
- 1 bay leaf
- 1 tsp saffron threads
Instruction
- Wash rice until water runs clear.
- In a ceramic dish add rice and all the other ingredients. Combine until the rice is coated and yellow.
- For every cup of rice add 1½ cups of water.
- Cook rice in microwave for 10 minutes or until cooked.
- Once rice is cooked, remove cardamom pods, cloves, bay leaf and cinnamon quill.
- Serve with curry of choice.
