Ingredients

The following ingredients have 4 Servings
  • Flax seeds (Roasted) - 5 tbsp
  • Grated coconut - 1/2 cup
  • Dry Red chili - 1
  • Tamarind - a small piece
  • Salt - to taste
  • Sugar - 1/2 tsp (optional)

Instruction

  • Dry roast the flax seeds on a low flame. Keep a cover handy since it splatters a lot.
  • At the end add tamarind, dry red chili and grated coconut. Mix everything and switch off.
  • After it cools, grind everything together coarsely with required salt (and sugar if preferred). Add minimum water for grinding.
