Ingredients

The following ingredients have 4 Servings
  • Fish – 1/2 kg
  • Salt - 1 tsp
  • Lemon Juice – 2 tbsp
  • Red Chili Powder – 1 tsp
  • Ginger Garlic paste – 1 tsp
  • For Coating
  • All Purpose Flour (Maida) – 3/4 cup
  • Crushed Black Pepper – 1/2 tsp
  • Oregano – 1 tsp
  • Salt – 1/2 tsp
  • Egg – 2
  • Milk – 2-3 tbsp
  • Bread Crumbs – 3/4 cup
  • Garlic Powder – 1 tsp

Instruction

  • Cut fish fillets into strips. Marinate with salt, ginger garlic paste, red chili powder and lemon juice. Keep aside for 10 minutes.
  • In one plate take maida (all purpose flour) mixed with oregano, salt and pepper.
  • In a second plate, beat 2 eggs with milk.
  • Take bread crumbs with garlic powder in the third plate. Keep all these ready.
  • Take each fish finger, roll in maida mix followed by egg mix and finally in bread crumbs. Usually, I use my right hand to roll in maida and bread crumbs. With left hand, I dip in the egg mix. That way the egg doesn’t get mixed with the flour or bread crumbs.
  • Arrange in a plate and keep aside.
  • Heat oil in a kadai.
  • Take a few strips at a time and deep fry till golden brown.
  • Drain excess oil using a kitchen tissue. Enjoy while its hot and crispy.
