- Red Chili Powder – 1 tsp
- Ginger Garlic paste – 1 tsp
- For Coating
- All Purpose Flour (Maida) – 3/4 cup
- Crushed Black Pepper – 1/2 tsp
- Oregano – 1 tsp
- Salt – 1/2 tsp
- Egg – 2
- Milk – 2-3 tbsp
- Bread Crumbs – 3/4 cup
- Garlic Powder – 1 tsp
Instruction
- Cut fish fillets into strips. Marinate with salt, ginger garlic paste, red chili powder and lemon juice. Keep aside for 10 minutes.
- In one plate take maida (all purpose flour) mixed with oregano, salt and pepper.
- In a second plate, beat 2 eggs with milk.
- Take bread crumbs with garlic powder in the third plate. Keep all these ready.
- Take each fish finger, roll in maida mix followed by egg mix and finally in bread crumbs. Usually, I use my right hand to roll in maida and bread crumbs. With left hand, I dip in the egg mix. That way the egg doesn’t get mixed with the flour or bread crumbs.
- Arrange in a plate and keep aside.
- Heat oil in a kadai.
- Take a few strips at a time and deep fry till golden brown.
- Drain excess oil using a kitchen tissue. Enjoy while its hot and crispy.
