Ingredients
The following ingredients have 4 Servings
- 1 pint strawberries
- 1.5-2 cups vodka
- 2/3 cup white chocolate chips
- 1 tsp coconut oil {optional}
- 2 TBSP blue sprinkles
Instruction
- Wash the strawberries really well. Trim the tops if desired. Put in a glass or plastic container and cover with vodka.
- Cover and refrigerate for at least 24 hours {the longer the better}.
- Make sure to turn the strawberries about halfway through "marinating" time.
- When ready to coat the strawberries, line a strainer with paper towels and sit above a bowl or container. Drain strawberries and strain vodka. Reserve vodka for another use {keep covered in refrigerator}.
- Make sure strawberries are completely dry, so blot with extra paper towels if necessary {the white chocolate won't stick to a wet strawberry}.
- Put the white chocolate chips and oil in a microwave safe bowl. Microwave on 50% power for 1 minute. Stir and microwave for another 30 seconds on 50% power. Stir until smooth. If needed, microwave in 15 second increments on 50% power until melted.
- Dip strawberries in melted white chocolate. Sprinkle blue sprinkles on the bottoms of the white chocolate to make the red, white, and blue layers on the strawberries. Sit on a wax paper lined plate to set.
- Repeat with remaining strawberries. Refrigerate until hardened {about 10 minutes}. Best served soon after taking them out of the refrigerator. Enjoy {in moderation, of course}!
- Keep covered in the refrigerator.
