Ingredients
The following ingredients have 16 Servings
- 1/2 cup butter, room temperature
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg, plus extra for sprinkling
- 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 1 egg
- 1/4 cup eggnog
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 2 cups flour
Instruction
- Line cookie sheets with parchment paper and preheat your oven to 350 degrees.
- Put the butter, sugar, nutmeg and vanilla extract together in a mixing bowl and beat until nice and fluffy. Add the egg and eggnog and mix again.
- Whisk the baking soda and flour together, then mix gently into the eggnog mixture.
- Scoop out roughly tablespoon sized scoops of dough and pop them on the cookie sheet about 2 inches apart. Sprinkle with a little nutmeg and bake for 10 minutes or until they are starting to turn a little brown around the edges.
- Cook for a few minutes on the cookie sheets, then move to a cooling rack until they are cool.
