Ingredients

The following ingredients have 12 Servings
  • 3 cups white bread flour
  • 1 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 1/2 tbs milk powder
  • 1 1/2 tbs butter
  • 1 tsp psyllium husk
  • 1 1/4 cups water
  • 1 tsp yeast
  • 2 tbs Vegemite
  • 1 1/2 cups cheese, grated

Instruction

  • Combine all bread mix ingredients in a a bowl and knead by hand until it comes together. Keep in a warm place to rise for two and a half hours.
  • On a floured board, roll the bread dough into a large rectangle. Spread with Vegemite and top with grated cheese. Working from the length of the dough, gently wrap away from you to form a log.
  • Cut into slices around 2 - 3cm thick and place cut-side up on a floured tray. Cover with a damp towel or cling wrap and allow to rise for another 20 minutes.
  • Bake in a 190C oven for around 20 minutes or until the scrolls are brown on top and the cheese has melted.
