Ingredients
The following ingredients have 8 Servings
- 2.5 pounds fresh cherry or grape tomatoes ((about 1.1 Kilograms))
- 3 small sweet onions (sliced)
- 10 large basil leaves (sliced into ribbons)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 1/2 tablespoons red wine vinegar
- 2 garlic cloves (crushed, optional)
- salt and pepper to taste
Instruction
- Slice the tomatoes in half and place them in a bowl.
- Add the sliced onions, basil, olive oil, vinegar and garlic (optional). Add a pinch or two each of sea salt and black pepper.
- Toss well and add more salt and pepper if desired.
