The following ingredients have 8 Servings

  • 1/3 cup olive oil
  • 10 garlic cloves (peeled and chopped)
  • 1/4 tsp crushed red pepper flakes
  • 2 tsp kosher salt
  • 2 large fresh basil sprigs (plus about a tablespoon of chopped basil for garnish)
  • 12 oz pkg jumbo pasta shells
  • 1-3/4 cups mozzarella cheese (shredded and divided)
  • 1-1/2 cups Parmesan cheese (grated and divided)
  • 2 lbs whole milk ricotta cheese
  • 2 large eggs (plus 2 egg yolks, lightly beaten)
  • 1 pinch nutmeg
  • 1 tsp ground black pepper
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 Tbsp dried parsley
