Ingredients

The following ingredients have 4 Servings
  • 1/2 cup chopped red bell pepper
  • 1 Tablespoon diced shallot
  • 1 Tablespoon oil of choice
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 Tablespoon milk
  • Pepper (to taste)
  • 2 Tablespoons grated Gruyere cheese
  • 1 Tablespoon sliced green onion

Instruction

  • Place the chopped bell pepper and diced shallot in the deeper part of the Lékué Omelet maker and pour the oil over the vegetables.
  • Close the omelet maker and microwave for 3 minutes.
  • Meanwhile, whisk together the eggs, milk, and black pepper until well blended.
  • Remove the omelet maker and pour the egg/milk mixture into the deeper well to cover the vegetables.
  • Return omelet maker to microwave and cook 2 more minutes. The eggs will puff up slightly, but this is normal.
  • Flip omelet maker over and cook another 30 seconds.
  • Remove omelet from maker (careful, it's hot and steamy!) and place on a plate. Top with gruyere cheese and green onions.
  • Enjoy!
