Ingredients

The following ingredients have 2 Servings
  • 100 g rolled oats
  • 400 g semi-skimmed milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 200 g mixture of fresh strawberries (blueberries, raspberries and blackberries)
  • 1 Tbsp honey
  • 1 Tbsp flaked almonds (optional)

Instruction

  • Measure out the oats and milk into a microwave safe bowl, then add the vanilla extract and stir to combine.
  • Cook on high in the microwave for 3 minutes.
  • Remove from the microwave and stir again then place back in the microwave.
  • Continue to cook at 30 second intervals, stirring in between, until the porridge is at your desired consistency.
  • Whilst the porridge is cooking, prepare the fruit; hull and roughly chop the strawberries, rinse the blueberries, raspberries and blackberries under cold water and drain on kitchen paper.
  • Mix the fruit together.
  • Once cooked, split the porridge between two bowls and top with the mixed fruit.
  • Drizzle both bowls with honey and sprinkle over flaked almonds, if using.
