Ingredients
The following ingredients have 2 Servings
- 100 g rolled oats
- 400 g semi-skimmed milk
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 200 g mixture of fresh strawberries (blueberries, raspberries and blackberries)
- 1 Tbsp honey
- 1 Tbsp flaked almonds (optional)
Instruction
- Measure out the oats and milk into a microwave safe bowl, then add the vanilla extract and stir to combine.
- Cook on high in the microwave for 3 minutes.
- Remove from the microwave and stir again then place back in the microwave.
- Continue to cook at 30 second intervals, stirring in between, until the porridge is at your desired consistency.
- Whilst the porridge is cooking, prepare the fruit; hull and roughly chop the strawberries, rinse the blueberries, raspberries and blackberries under cold water and drain on kitchen paper.
- Mix the fruit together.
- Once cooked, split the porridge between two bowls and top with the mixed fruit.
- Drizzle both bowls with honey and sprinkle over flaked almonds, if using.
