Ingredients
The following ingredients have 9 Servings
- 6-8 peaches, depending on size (peeled, cored and sliced (5 to 6 cups depending how many peaches you want))
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1/4 heaping teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter (or 1 stick)
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 1/2 cups granulated sugar
- 3 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/4 heaping teaspoon salt
- 1 cup milk of choice (I used unsweetened almond milk, buttermilk also a good option)
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
Instruction
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
- Add the sliced peaches, sugar and salt to a large microwaveable bowl. Mix and microwave for about 2 minutes until sugar is dissolved. Also can cook on stovetop in saucepan over medium heat for a few minutes as well. Set aside.
- Melt butter and add to a 9x13 inch baking dish.
- In a large bowl whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder and salt. Stir in the milk, and stir until just combined. Pour cobbler batter over the melted butter and spread out.
- Spoon the peaches and juice over the batter.
- Sprinkle cinnamon over the top of the batter.
- Bake 40-50 minutes. Serve warm, it's delicious!
