Ingredients
The following ingredients have 48 Servings
- 36 Oreo cookies (finely crushed, divided (about 3 cups of cookie crumbs))
- 8 oz cream cheese (softened)
- 4 4 oz pkg semi-sweet baking chocolate (melted)
Instruction
- Set aside 1/4 cup cookie crumbs. Mix cream cheese and remaining cookie crumbs until blended.
- Roll dough into 1-inch balls (about 48), placing on wax or parchment paper. Freeze for 15 minutes. (The truffles need to be frozen before dipping.)
- To melt the chocolate, place the pieces in microwaveable bowl. Microwave on HIGH 2-1/2 minutes, or until chocolate is completely melted, stirring every 30 seconds.
- Dip the balls in melted chocolate; place again on waxed paper-lined, rimmed baking sheet.
- Sprinkle with reserved cookie crumbs.
- Refrigerate for 1 hour, or until firm.
- Decorate and devour! Or package them up and give them away!
