Ingredients

The following ingredients have 8 Servings
  • 2 cups glutinous rice / sweet rice / sticky rice (about 400 grams, rinse with water and drain off water)
  • 2 1/4 cups liquid from soaking mushrooms (about 525 grams)
  • 6 cloves garlic (finely minced)
  • 2 Tbsp Cooking oil
  • 5 cloves garlic (finely minced)
  • 25 gr dried shrimp (soaked and drained off water)
  • 800 gr pork belly or boneless skinless chicken thighs (dice into small pieces)
  • 5 shitake mushrooms (soak and keep water and slice into 1/2-inch strips)
  • 2 Chinese sausages (cut into 1/2-inch slices)
  • 6 salted egg yolks (cut into 12 small pieces, optional- I didn't use them this time)
  • 1 Tbsp cooking oil
  • 1 Tbsp oyster sauce
  • 1 Tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 Tbsp day soy sauce
  • 1/4 tsp white pepper powder
  • 1 Tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 Tbsp oyster sauce
  • 2 Tbsp dark soy sauce
  • 1/4 tsp white pepper powder
  • 4 -6 bamboo leaves
