Ingredients

The following ingredients have 6 Servings
  • 1 29-ounce can La Preferida Chickpeas, (drained and rinsed)
  • 1 avocado
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • juice of 1 lime ((about 2 tablespoons))
  • 3 tablespoons La Preferida Salsa, ((mild, medium or hot))
  • 2 tablespoons La Preferida Jalapeño Nacho Slices with juice, ((mild, medium or hot))
  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • pinch of salt

Instruction

  • Remove outer layer of chick peas by lightly pinching them between your thumb and index fingers. 
  • In a large blender or food processor, combine de-shelled chick peas, avocados, and olive oil. Pulse in 5 second increments, until mostly combined, about 30 seconds total.
  • Add remaining ingredients and blend until smooth.
  • Add additional jalapeños and juice for more zest if desired. Enjoy!
