Ingredients

The following ingredients have 4 Servings
  • 1 ½ pounds ground turkey
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon minced onion
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 4 slices cheddar cheese (cut into quarters)
  • 4 hamburger buns
  • Lettuce, sliced tomato, sliced onions, pickles, or your favorite burger toppings

Instruction

  • Combine ground turkey, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, salt and pepper in a large bowl; mix well.
  • Form 8, thin 4-inch wide patties. Place 4 on a work surface and top each with 4 quarters of cheese. Top them with the remaining 4 patties, pinching the edges to form a tight seal.
  • Preheat a cast iron skillet (or a grill) to medium heat. Cook burgers until well browned, 5-6 minutes on each side.
  • Serve with your favorite toppings on toasted hamburger buns.
