Ingredients
The following ingredients have 9 Servings
- 1 large onion, diced
- 2 medium green peppers, chopped
- 2 tablespoon(s) vegetable oil
- 3 - chicken breats, cooked and chopped
- 2 - 16 oz packages hillshire farm or louis rich sausage (kielbasa, turkey, or chicken)
- 2 can(s) campbells french onion soup
- 1 can(s) chicken broth
- 1 can(s) beef broth
- 3 cup(s) uncooked long grain white rice
- 4-5 teaspoon(s) creole seasoning
- 1-2 cup(s) frozen or fresh shrimp (optional)
- 1/2 cup(s) fresh cilantro (optional)
Instruction
- In a large dutch oven, saute onion and green pepper in oil over medium heat until limp.
- slice or dice sausage and add to onion and green pepper. Cook for 1 minute. Add the creole seasoning, soups, chicken, and uncooked rice. Cover and simmer until rice is cooked and liquid is evaporated, about 20 minutes.
- If desired add shrimp and heat through until pink in color. May garnish with cilantro
