Ingredients
The following ingredients have 4 Servings
- 1 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 bell peppers (sliced thinly ( I used one red and one yellow))
- 1 package Guy Fieri Italian Style Sausage (sliced into medallions)
- 8 oz penne pasta (cooked al dente)
- 24 oz pasta sauce
- 8 oz shredded mozzarella cheese
- Fresh parmesan cheese (optional)
Instruction
- In a large skillet heat the olive oil.
- Sauté the bell peppers and sausage for five minutes.
- Add the cooked pasta to the pan and toss.
- Sauté for 3 minutes, gently tossing the pasta.
- Add the sauce to the pan and toss until all the pasta is evenly coated with sauce.
- Sprinkle mozzarella cheese over the top and place a lid on the pan.
- Reduce the heat enough to prevent scorching and allow the cheese to melt.
- Plate and grate some fresh parmesan cheese over the top.
