The following ingredients have 6 Servings
  • 1/4 cup (1.875-ounces) dark brown sugar, packed
  • 1/2 Tablespoon ground cumin
  • 1/2 Tablespoon chili powder
  • 1/2 Tablespoon paprika
  • 1/2 Tablespoon Kosher salt
  • 1 teaspoon dry mustard
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 3/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • 3 pounds boneless pork butt, trimmed of thick fat and cut into 4 pieces (See Tip 1)
  • Dry Rub (from above) (See Tip 2)
  • 2 Tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 1/2 cups chicken broth, divided
  • 1 Tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 cup favorite barbecue sauce (See Tip 3)
