Ingredients
The following ingredients have 4 Servings
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- ⅓ cup onion (grated)
- 2 cloves garlic (grated)
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 tablespoon tomato paste
- 1 can (28oz) crushed tomatoes
Instruction
- In a large saucepan, add olive oil, and place over medium heat.
- When hot, add onions in the saucepan, stirring often, cook approximately 2 to 3 minutes, or until the onions become translucent.
- In the saucepan, add in garlic, salt, and dried oregano. Stir to mix, and cook for 1 minute.
- In the saucepan, add tomato paste. Cook and stir for 1 minute.
- In the saucepan, add crushed tomatoes.
- Bring to a boil, reduce heat, and simmer approximately 5 to 10 minutes, or until the sauce has thickened.
