Ingredients

The following ingredients have 4 Servings
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • ⅓ cup onion (grated)
  • 2 cloves garlic (grated)
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 tablespoon tomato paste
  • 1 can (28oz) crushed tomatoes

Instruction

  • In a large saucepan, add olive oil, and place over medium heat.
  • When hot, add onions in the saucepan, stirring often, cook approximately 2 to 3 minutes, or until the onions become translucent.
  • In the saucepan, add in garlic, salt, and dried oregano. Stir to mix, and cook for 1 minute.
  • In the saucepan, add tomato paste. Cook and stir for 1 minute.
  • In the saucepan, add crushed tomatoes.
  • Bring to a boil, reduce heat, and simmer approximately 5 to 10 minutes, or until the sauce has thickened.
