Ingredients

The following ingredients have 4 Servings
  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • 2 teaspoons baking soda
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 12 ounces beer
  • ½ stick (1/4 cup) butter, (melted)

Instruction

  • Preheat the oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit and spray a loaf pan with non-stick spray. Whisk the flour, sugar, baking soda and salt together in a large bowl.
  • Next stir in the beer until fully combined.
  • Pour the batter into the loaf pan and spread it out.
  • Pour the butter on top of the batter in the pan.
  • Bake for 35-40 minutes. The bread will be done when the top turns a dark brown color and a toothpick comes out clean when inserted into the center of the bread.
  • Slice and serve with butter if desired.
