The following ingredients have 4 Servings
- 1 box white cake mix
- 1 (3 ounce) box strawberry instant Jello
- 8-9 ounces fresh strawberries or 1 1/2 cups blended or crushed ((weight after trimming off tops))
- 4 large eggs (room temperature)
- 1/2 cup canola or vegetable oil
- 1/4 cup cold water
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter softened
- 4 ounces cream cheese (softened)
- 2 ounces freeze-dried strawberries, crushed in food processor
- 5-6 cups powdered sugar
- dash of salt
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice
- 1-2 tablespoons milk or cream to thin the frosting if needed
- additional fresh strawberries for garnish
