- 3 tablespoons (45 ml) whole milk
- 1 ¼ cup (300 ml) heavy cream
- 2 teaspoons white granulated sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup (200 g) semi-sweet or dark chocolate, (broken into small pieces (I used semi-sweet))
- 3 ½ tablespoons (50 g) unsalted butter, (softened)
