Ingredients
The following ingredients have 4 Servings
- 2 sheets frozen puff pastry, defrosted
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup caster sugar
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- 40g butter, softened
Instruction
- Preheat pie maker according to its own instructions. Very lightly grease plates.
- Remove plastic liner from puff pastry and place one sheet in front of you on the kitchen bench. Place the second above it, slightly overlapping, so you have a long rectangle of pastry.
- Combine sugars and cinnamon in a small bowl.
- Spread softened butter evenly all over pastry. Sprinkle over sugar mixture. Starting with the edge closest to you, roll up the pastry to enclose the filling, until you have a sausage shape. Use a sharp knife to cut into 8 equal pieces.
- Place 4 pieces cut side up in the preheated plates of the pie maker. Close the lid and cook for 8 minutes. Use a knife to carefully flip each scroll and cook for a further 4-5 minutes until the pastry is cooked through and is lovely and golden.
- Repeat with remaining pastry scrolls.
