The following ingredients have 6 Servings
- 3 lbs pork shoulder/butt (or use boneless skinless chicken thighs)
- 2 Tbsp cooking oil
- 2 Tbsp cooking wine
- 5 cloves garlic (finely grated)
- 5 shallots (finely chopped)
- 2 Tbsp hoisin sauce
- 2 Tbsp oyster sauce
- 4 Tbsp honey
- 2 Tbsp brown sugar
- 1/2 tsp five-spice powder
- 1 Tbsp red-yeast rice powder (optional- to give the red colors)
- 2 Tbsp oyster sauce
- 1 Tbsp hoisin sauce
- 2 Tbsp honey
- 1 Tbsp brown sugar (or more for sweeter taste)
- 2 Tbsp water
