Ingredients
The following ingredients have 4 Servings
- 2 pounds ground beef
- 1 ½ cups onions (chopped)
- 4 cloves garlic (minced)
- 29 ounces stewed tomatoes (2 cans)
- 14.5 ounces Roasted tomatoes with green chiles ((Rotel))
- 15 ounces tomato sauce
- 15 ounces kidney beans with liquid
- 2 tablespoons chili powder
- ½ teaspoon cumin
- 2 teaspoons salt
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon dried parsley
- ½ tsp cinnamon
- 1 tsp cocoa powder
- Salt and pepper (to taste)
Instruction
- Combine ground beef, onion, and garlic in large dutch oven over medium heat.
- Cook and stir over medium heat until beef is brown. Drain and excess grease off the meat.
- Stir in remaining ingredients, and heat to a boil. Once boiling, reduce heat to medium-low.
- Let simmer, stirring occasionally, for 1 hour.
- Simmer, uncovered, for 20 minutes.
- Serve and enjoy
