Ingredients

The following ingredients have 6 Servings
  • 1 cup carrots (cut in pieces)
  • 1 tbsp oil
  • 1 lb chicken (breast or thighs, cut into pieces)
  • 32 oz chicken broth
  • 2 cups water
  • 1/3 cup dill (or parsley)
  • 1/2 cup green onions (chopped)
  • 8 oz cheese tortellini
  • 1 tsp salt (adjust to taste)
  • 1 tsp ground black pepper

Instruction

  • Preheat a pot with oil. Add chopped carrots and cook them until they are lightly softened.
  • Add chicken, water and broth to the mix. Allow it to cook for 15 minutes.
  • Add green onions and dill, bring it to a simmer.
  • Add tortellini and let it cook for 10 more minutes. Season with salt and pepper.
