Ingredients
The following ingredients have 6 Servings
- 1 cup carrots (cut in pieces)
- 1 tbsp oil
- 1 lb chicken (breast or thighs, cut into pieces)
- 32 oz chicken broth
- 2 cups water
- 1/3 cup dill (or parsley)
- 1/2 cup green onions (chopped)
- 8 oz cheese tortellini
- 1 tsp salt (adjust to taste)
- 1 tsp ground black pepper
Instruction
- Preheat a pot with oil. Add chopped carrots and cook them until they are lightly softened.
- Add chicken, water and broth to the mix. Allow it to cook for 15 minutes.
- Add green onions and dill, bring it to a simmer.
- Add tortellini and let it cook for 10 more minutes. Season with salt and pepper.
