Ingredients

The following ingredients have 4 Servings
  • 3 Tablespoons butter, salted
  • ½ onion, chopped
  • 2 cups chopped carrots
  • 2 cups chopped celery (about 6 ribs)
  • 2 cups chopped rotisserie chicken
  • 1½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • 2 teaspoons chicken bouillon
  • ½ teaspoon ground pepper
  • ½ teaspoon dried thyme
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 3 cups water
  • 2 cups egg noodles

Instruction

  • In a pot over medium heat melt butter, then add onion, carrots, and celery. Saute for 8-10 minutes, stirring occasionally until tender.
  • Add chicken, garlic, chicken bouillon, ground pepper, thyme, chicken broth, and water. Mix well.
  • Bring to a gentle boil, then add the egg noodles. Simmer for 10 minutes, until noodles are tender and cooked through. Remove from heat and serve.
