Ingredients

The following ingredients have 4 Servings
  • 2 1/4 teaspoon Active Dry Yeast {or one 1/4 oz. packet}
  • 1/3 cup Sugar
  • 2 cups Water {lukewarm}
  • 1 large egg
  • 4 cups ‘Self Rising’ Flour
  • 3/4 cup Canola or Vegetable Oil
  • 1/8 tsp. Salt

Instruction

  • Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
  • In large mixing bowl, stir together Yeast, Sugar, and Water, and allow mixture to sit for approximately 5 minutes.
  • Add Egg to Yeast mixture, and whisk.
  • Then add Flour, Salt, and Oil to mixture, and stir well with wooden spoon.
  • Spray Non-Sttick Muffin Tins with cooking spray, and fill each cup 2/3 full with dough.
  • Bake for 8 – 10 minutes, or until done.
  • Remove from oven, allow to cool in muffin tins for a few minutes, then transfer to wire cooling rack to finish cooling.
  • Top with Easy Freezer Jam for the ultimate homemade treat!
