Ingredients
The following ingredients have 4 Servings
- 2 1/4 teaspoon Active Dry Yeast {or one 1/4 oz. packet}
- 1/3 cup Sugar
- 2 cups Water {lukewarm}
- 1 large egg
- 4 cups ‘Self Rising’ Flour
- 3/4 cup Canola or Vegetable Oil
- 1/8 tsp. Salt
Instruction
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
- In large mixing bowl, stir together Yeast, Sugar, and Water, and allow mixture to sit for approximately 5 minutes.
- Add Egg to Yeast mixture, and whisk.
- Then add Flour, Salt, and Oil to mixture, and stir well with wooden spoon.
- Spray Non-Sttick Muffin Tins with cooking spray, and fill each cup 2/3 full with dough.
- Bake for 8 – 10 minutes, or until done.
- Remove from oven, allow to cool in muffin tins for a few minutes, then transfer to wire cooling rack to finish cooling.
- Top with Easy Freezer Jam for the ultimate homemade treat!
