Ingredients

The following ingredients have 4 Servings
  • 1 1/3- 1 1/2 lb skirt steak (cut into thin strips)
  • 3 cups broccoli florets
  • 1 Tbs olive oil
  • 1/2 cup soy sauce
  • 2 Tbs minced garlic
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 2 Tbs rice wine vinegar
  • 1/2 Tbs ginger paste
  • 1/2 Tbs sesame oil
  • 1 Tbs honey
  • 1 tsp chili garlic sauce
  • Pinch of red pepper flakes
  • 1/2 cup chicken or beef stock
  • 2 Tbs corn starch

Instruction

  • Mix together all sauce ingredients.
  • Heat olive oil in a large sauté pan
  • Add beef, and cook 1-2 minutes per side
  • Dump sauce over the top and bring to a boil
  • Continue to boil until sauce thickens (3-5 minutes)
  • Add in broccoli, stir to coat completely.
  • Put lid on and let steam for 1 minute.
  • Remove lid, serve over white rice.
