Ingredients

The following ingredients have 4 Servings
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup butter - room temp.
  • 2 eggs - room temp.
  • 4 Tablespoon whole milk
  • 1/4 teaspoon white vinegar
  • 1 1/2 cups very ripe bananas mashed ((about 3))
  • 2 cups A/P flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 cup chopped nuts (- I like pecans)

Instruction

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease 1 large loaf pan and cover bottom with waxed paper.
  • In a large bowl, cream sugar, and butter. Add the vinegar to the milk and stir.
  • Add eggs, sour milk, mashed bananas, flour, baking soda, and 3/4 cup of chopped nuts. Mix well with a wooden spoon until blended.
  • Pour into pan, and top with remaining nuts. Bake for 50 to 60 minutes. Using a toothpick, test for doneness. The pick should come out clean.
  • Let banana nut bread cool in the pan for 10 minutes then turn it out onto a wire rack to cool completely.
