Ingredients
The following ingredients have 4 Servings
- 5 large Granny Smith apples (cored, peeled, sliced in 1/4" thick wedges )
- ⅓ cup water
- 1 tablespoon cinnamon (divided )
- 8 tablespoons butter (unsalted, (1 stick))
- ¾ cup all-purpose flour (can use regular too. )
- 2 tablespoons stevia (or 1/4 cup granulated sugar )
- 2 tablespoons light brown sugar stevia blend (or 1/4 cup light brown sugar )
Instruction
- Preheat your oven to 350°F. Grease a 9 x9 pan with nonstick spray or additional butter.
- Peel, core, and slice your apples into ¼" thick slices.
- Add apples to the baking dish and pour water over them.
- Top with half the cinnamon. I used about 1/2 tablespoon but you can use less or more if you prefer.
- In a bowl mix the flour, stevia (or sugar), and butter until crumbly. Use clean, or gloved hands to help mix.
- Sprinkle mixture over the apples, and bake for 40 minutes. ¼
- Serve warm with frozen vanilla yogurt or ice cream. My family loves this dessert for breakfast too!
