Ingredients
The following ingredients have 4 Servings
- 1 tablespoon canola oil
- 2 cups cooked chicken (perfect for rotisserie chicken)
- 1 ½ cups water
- 2/3 cup teriyaki sauce
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 2 cups instant brown rice, uncooked
- 2 cups fresh broccoli florets
- 1/3 cup sliced almonds
Instruction
- Heat oil in a large nonstick skillet over medium-high heat. Add cooked chicken and saute until warm.
- To the skillet, add water, teriyaki sauce, honey, ginger, and garlic powder. Bring to a boil.
- Stir in uncooked instant brown rice and broccoli; cover. Cook on low for 5-7 minutes. Remove from heat and let stand for about 5 minutes. Sprinkle with sliced almonds and fluff with a fork.
