Ingredients

The following ingredients have 4 Servings
  • 1 tablespoon canola oil
  • 2 cups cooked chicken (perfect for rotisserie chicken)
  • 1 ½ cups water
  • 2/3 cup teriyaki sauce
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 2 cups instant brown rice, uncooked
  • 2 cups fresh broccoli florets
  • 1/3 cup sliced almonds

Instruction

  • Heat oil in a large nonstick skillet over medium-high heat. Add cooked chicken and saute until warm.
  • To the skillet, add water, teriyaki sauce, honey, ginger, and garlic powder. Bring to a boil.
  • Stir in uncooked instant brown rice and broccoli; cover. Cook on low for 5-7 minutes. Remove from heat and let stand for about 5 minutes. Sprinkle with sliced almonds and fluff with a fork.
