Ingredients
The following ingredients have 8 Servings
- 1 - can of pie filling--(we love cherry)
- 1 - cake mix--(we use yellow)
- 2 or 3 - pats of butter
Instruction
- pour the can of pie filling into the dutch oven
- pour the cake mix on top of the pie filling--do not mix them up
- place 2 or 3 pats of butter on top
- sprinkle with cinnamon if you would like
- Cover the oven--place about 15-20 charcoal briquets on top of the oven and about 8-12 underneath
- bake for 20 minutes give or take remember to check often so the cake doesn't burn
